GULMARG, Mar 4: Amrit Jyoti Gulmarg Winter Festival-2022, organised by Indian Army in collaboration with GDA, J&K Tourism and the Gulmarg Hotel Association, commenced, here today.
The event commenced with lightning of ‘IsbandSoz’ by General Officer Commanding, Daggar Division, followed by performances by renowned local artists to include performances by ‘D Alive Dancer Group’ and Umar Rock Band’.
The breathtaking stunts by team of ‘High Altitude Warfare School’ was the showstopper today, while the snow cycle race and sledge race were a treat to watch in which competitors left no stone unturned to win the races.
There was a huge rush at Gulmarg as locals including students from schools, colleges and NCC cadets turned out in huge numbers along with tourists.
