Amandeep Academy wins series, defeats Vishal Club by 2-1

JAMMU, Jan16: Amandeep Cricket Academy defeated Vishal Cricket Club Jammu by three wickets in the last & third match of the Friendship Cricket Series for under-19 and clinched by 2-1 at Amandeep Cricket Academy Amritsar.
Batting first, Vishal Cricket Club scored 189 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 30 overs. Kanhiya Wadhwan made 67 runs, Rohan Gill scored 67 runs and Arnav made 16 runs. From the bowling side, Jaideep Singh took 3 wickets, Garv, Gurteg Singh, Ajay and Prabal took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Amandeep Cricket Academy chased the target in 28.5 overs by losing 7 wickets, thus won the match by 3 wickets. Parth made highest 88 runs, Arsh and Gurteg made 40 runs each and Prabjot contributed 22 runs. From Vishal Club, Sachin Sharma took 3 wickets, Aqib bagged 2 wickets, Abay Tondon and Kartik took 1 wicket each.
Parth was declared as man of the match in final match, Jaideep Singh from Amandeep Academy was declared best batsman whereas Kanhiya Wadhwan and Kartik Mehra of Vishal Club Jammu were declared as man of the series and best bowler respectively.
The match was officiated by Twinkle, Karan and Raj. Madan Mohan accompanied the Vishal Club team as a coach.
Manish Sharma India-A player was the chief guest of the valedictory function while Rajesh Gill former Ranji player was the guest of honour. The chief guest appreciated the Jammu Vishal Club team for showing professional cricketing skills in batting, bowling and fielding during the series.
Rajesh Gill also spoke on the occasion and thanked the management of Amandeep Cricket Academy specially Dr Shehbaz Singh and Lovely Arora for providing an opportunity to the Jammu Cricketers for three match cricket series with their boys. He also invited Amandeep Academy Cricket team for 5 Match cricket series of 50 overs game at Jammu.
