RAJOURI, Oct 25: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal inaugurated the much anticipated second edition of the All India T20 Peer Panjal Champions Trophy tournament at Sports Stadium Kheora, here today.
He emphasized the pivotal role of sports in combating the drug menace, reinforcing that the primary motto of the event is to liberate the youth from the clutches of substance abuse and redirect their boundless energies towards a constructive path. The DC said that necessary measures are being taken to create adequate sports infrastructure to provide the best possible platforms to the budding players where they can showcase their talent.
Notably, the winning team will be awarded a generous cash prize of Rs. 5 lakh, while the runner-up will receive Rs 2.5 lakhs – a testament to the commitment of the organizers towards promoting and rewarding excellence in the realm of sports.
