Akshita blossoms in ‘Golden Girls Talent Hunt’

BENGALURU, Nov 26: Akshita Mengi, an alumnus of KC Public School outshined as a winner in the ‘Golden Girls Talent Hunt’ event for girls hosted by Jain University, Bengaluru.
The event was an initiative of Times of India Group in Collaboration with Malabar Gold & Diamonds.
In this event a large number of girl students from various branches participated and exhibited their unique talent in different fields like music, fine arts, sports and literary.
Out of all the girl students, top 5 students were awarded with a cash prize of Rs 20,000 each and a Certificate.
Akshita Mengi displayed her talent in singing. The singing event took place in two phases, Audition round and the Finale round.
Audition round was basically conducted in order to spread awareness about the event taking place and the Finale round was to select the winners.
In the same event, Akshita Mengi was also among those 3 girl students who won Gold Coin as lucky dip prize from Malabar Gold & Diamonds.
Commenting on the performance, Akshita said that she owes the achievement to her hard work, dedication and her mentor Satyabhama Dubey who runs the institute ‘Sharda Sangeet Sadan’ which provides the foundation for classical music to the learning aspirants.
Akshita has earned Senior diploma with 1st Division in Music (Vocal) from Prayag Sangeet Samiti Allahabad (2014-2015) and she has also to her credit a number of prizes at local and regional level competitions in music.
She also owns a YouTube channel, with the name of ‘Akshita Mengi’ where she uploads her original compositions.
