JAMMU, Nov 9: Beating their rivals easily in the semifinals, Akhilesh and Divyansh have entered into the finals and will locks horns against each other in the Under-12 cadet boys summit clash of the ongoing Jammu District Table Tennis Championship being held at MA Stadium, here.
In Under-14 Sub Junior Girls Semifinal, Hargun defeated Ashmit Kour by 3-1, while Iknoor got better of Meghna Jain by 3-2.
In Under-17 Junior Boys first round, Sanchit drubbed Akhil by 2 -1, Karan Langer beat Manya by 2-0, Shreyash prevailed over Rahul 2-1, Ojaswin trounced Kunwarjit 2-1, Akshit beat Yuvraj Singh 2-0, Naman Gupta defeated Parbat 2-1, while in Under-17 Junior Boys second round, Ketan beat Koustav 2-0, Amaan outplayed Ashank 2-0, Ritvik outclassed Vikalp 2-0, Saksham defeated Sudhikshan 2-0, Manan trounced Akhil by 2-0 and Karan Langer prevailed over Akshit by 2-1.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Satbir singh, Rajan Sharma, IP Singh, Satish Gupta, Ajay Sharma, Anil Dutta, Gurvinder Sasan, Vasu Dewan, Narinder Singh, Sandeep Khadotra, Shorya Sharma, Sheetal Gandotra, Narinder Kaur and Sanjeev Gupta.
