AITA trainees clinch 4 medals in All India University Games

JAMMU, Jan 27: Trainees of Atul International Taekwondo Academy (AITA) showcased great skills at the All India University Games held at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar (Punjab) by clinching 4 medals.
Around 160 Universities participated in the Games and the competitive atmosphere was amazing till the closing ceremony. Tashi Tundup and Shahnaz Parveen clinched Gold medals, while representing GNDU and MDU, Rohtak, University, respectively whereas Kushagra Sharma and Achutam Dev Singh secured the Silver medals from MDU University. Both will be eying for upcoming National Championships.
All these four athletes represented the top notch sport’s universities of India and are getting training at Atul International Taekwondo Academy under Master Atul Pangotra. Tashi and Shanaz are playing from Ladakh but getting training at AITA from years. Tashi has already represented India at world University Games.
Rajesh Pangotra (president, J&K Taekwondo Association) along with the secretary RC Sharma congratulated all the medal winners for their outstanding performance in All India University Games.
