JAMMU, Aug 21: Atul International Taekwondo Academy (AITA) emerged overall champion in 1st J&K Taekwondo Association Cup, which concluded today at Brahman Sabha.
The championship was organized by Jammu Taekwondo Association under the aegis of J&K Taekwondo Association and Taekwondo Federation of India. Around 500 players/officials participated in the championship, which began on August 19.
Today, at the closing ceremony, Anil Gupta, Chairman, J&K Taekwondo Association and Prof Ashutosh Sharma, General Secretary, J&K Olympic Association, were the chief guests. Ved Prakash Sharma, president, Dogra Brahman Pratinidhi Sabha, was guest of honour. Subash Shastri, president, NMC, presided over the ceremony.
Result: In Sub Junior Boy (mini 2), Harihans Dev Anand of Lawrence won gold, Achiint Sharma of AITA got silver while Aquib Hussain of BN Higher Secondary School and Aryan Pandita of CRPF settled for bronze.
In Sub Junior Boys (U- 27Kg), Pranshu Gupta of AITA bagged gold, Himanshu Diwan of KVN won silver whereas Rahat Ishaq of BN Higher Secondary and Nikhil Saini of JK Public School got bronze. In Sub Junior Boys (U- 32 Kg), Satjeet of AITA got gold, Brighu Sharma of CRPF won silver while Krishna Krish of CRPF and Rashid Ishaq of BN Higher Secondary School bagged bronze.
In Sub Junior Boys (U-35), Vaibhav Abrol of AITA bagged gold, Karan Sudhan of Nav Shishu won silver, Anshul Padha of LSDB and Shiven Prasher got bronze. In Sub Junior Boys (U- 38 Kg), Kushagra Sharma of AITA won gold, Samaksh of KVN got silver while Krishana Gupta of AITA and Shubhum of JK Public School settled for bronze.
In Sub Junior Boys (U- 41 Kg), Shivakar of AITA got gold, Dhananjay of AITA won silver while Rishul of CRPF and Krish of JP World bagged bronze. In Sub Junior Boys (U-44), Ritike of KVN won gold and Krishna Gupta of LSDB bagged gold whereas in Sub Junior (U-50), Anirud Rakwal of KVN won gold, Kamal Deep of JK Public bagged silver, Kanishth Singh of BR Playway and Raghav Verma of KVN settled for bronze.
In Sub Junior Girls (U- 16) mini, Gouri Verma of AITA got gold and Snamdeep of BR Playway won silver whereas in Sub Junior Girls (U-18 mini), Angel Sambyal of CRPF bagged gold, Iram Gafoor of Chirag School got silver and Aradhya of Kidzee won bronze.
In Sub Junior Girls (U- 20) mini, Vaibhavi of AITA bagged gold, Syeda of Kidzee won silver and Noor of Kidzee got bronze. In Sub Junior Girls (U-20), Snowver of Humanity Publc School excelled with gold, Karamdeep of BR Playway won silver whereas Jassica and Ridhima of BR Playway got bronze.
In Sub Junior Girls (U-22), Vanshika of LSDB bagged gold, Namika of Chirag Public school won silver and Shaheen of BN Higher Secondary got bronze whereas in Sub Junior Girls (U-24), Vanshita of CRPF bagged gold, Simmi of CRPF won silver and Stakshi and Komal of LSDB settled for bronze.
In Sub Junior Girls (U-26), Vasundhra of KV Nagrota excelled with gold, Sofia of Humanity bagged silver and Mansi Jamwal and Unnati of BR Playway got bronze whereas in Sub Junior Girls (U-29), Tanu of CRPF bagged gold, Nazz of Chirag Public School got silver while Manshi of LSDB and Falak of Chirag Public School won bronze.
In Sub Junior Girls (U-30), Sanvi of AITA bagged gold, Sehajdeep Kaur of BR Playway won silver and Tejasvi of Lawrence got bronze while in Sub Junior Girls (U-32), Aaprajita of AITA won gold, Zohra of JK Public got silver and Khushi of LSDB and Ishita of Lawrence settled for bronze.
In Sub Junior Girls (U-35), Ashima of JK Public won gold, Kanika of Chirag Public School got silver while Monika of Nav Shishu and Anjil of Shangrill bagged bronze. In Sub Junior Girls (U-38), Komal of Navshishu bagged gold, Marushika of KVN won silver whereas Supriya of LSDB and Bhumika of Shangrilla got bronze.
In Sub Junior Girls (U- 41), Akriti of KVN won gold, Chitreshi of KVN got silver while Vasundhara of Shangrilla and Isha of CRPF bagged bronze. In Sub Junior Girls (U- 47), Urja of CRPF won gold, Dhihum of JK Public got silver while Divya of CRPF and Harshita of LSDB settled for bronze.
In Cadet Girls (U-33), Vasundhara of AITA bagged gold, Pallavi of LSDB won silver while Anshika of BR Playway and Kulsuma of BN Higher Secondary got bronze. In Cadet Girls (U-37), Mansi of Humanity won gold, Shefali of HPS got silver whereas Bhoomika of BR Playwy and Rashmi of CRPF bagged bronze.
In Cadet Girls (U-41), Siya of JK Public bagged gold, Kannu of BR Playwy won silver and Divyanshi of BR Playwy and Riya of KVN got bronze. In Cadet Girls (Open), Khushi bagged gold, Bhumika of JK Public got silver while Lakshmi and Rishita of LSDB won bronze.
In Cadet Boys (U-33), Varun of SLSDB bagged gold, Sushant of VAOT got silver while Ayoush of CRPF and Tarun of KV Sunjwan won bronze. In Cadet Boys (U-37), Monish of AITA won gold, Manav of CRPF got silver whereas Prikshitof JK Public and Shiv of KV Sunjwan settled for bronze.
In Cadet Boys (U-41), Shushant of Sunjwan won gold, Dushant of CRPF bagged silver whereas Pranay of CRPF and Vishal of Ranvir Club got bronze. In Cadet Boys (U-45), Deepak of HPS bagged gold, Amandeep of AITA won silver while Abhin and Nirmal of JK Public got bronze.
In Cadet Boys (U-49),Rajeshwar of KV Sunjwan bagged gold, Gurpreet of JK Public won silver whereas Kuljeet of HPS and Manik of Manik Public School got bronze. In Cadet Boys (U-53), Aman of AITA excelled with gold, Rakib of JP World won silver whereas Avneet of KV Nagrota and Jatin of KV Sunjwan got bronze.
In Cadet Boys (U-57), Shivam of CRPF won gold, Laksh bagged silver while Vishantak of AITA and Reyaz of APS got bronze. In Cadet Boys (U-65), Fawad ul Hassan of JP World bagged gold, Shiv of JK Public won silver and Raman of HPS got bronze.
In Junior Girls (U-42), Mansi of AITA bagged gold, Palvi got silver and Navjot of HPS won silver. In Junior Girls (U-52), Neha of HPS won gold, Priya of CRPF bagged silver while Priya settled for bronze.
