JAMMU, Aug 21: Stadium XI and Bhatia Cricket Academy (BCA) today won their respective matches in the ongoing Bhatia Cricket League for Under -15 Boys being organized by Bhatia Cricket Academy (BCA).
The first match of the day was played between Stadium XI and The Cricket Club (TCC). Batting first, Stadium XI scored 274 runs in stipulated 25 overs. Rhytham made quick 114 runs in just 63 balls while Kanhiya and Chitra scored 58 and 20 runs, respectively. For TCC, Shabak took 3 wickets while Shubang scalped 1 wicket.
In reply, TCC failed to chase the target and collapsed on paltry 99 runs in 23.4 overs, thereby losing the match by 165 runs. Dhananjay scored highest 30 runs for TCC. For Stadium XI, Abhinav Khajuria took 5 wickets while Dhruv scalped 2 wickets. For his splendid 114 runs inning, Rhytham was declared as man of the match.
The second match was played between BCA and Rising Star. Batting first, BCA scored 174 runs in stipulated 25 overs by losing 9 wickets. Abhishek scored 41 runs while Anil made 31 and Rohit scored 28 runs. For Rising Star, Aditya scalped 3 wickets while Sayam took wickets.
In reply, Rising Star could scored only 85 runs by losing 6 wickets and lost the match to BCA by 89 runs. Aditya scored 26 runs while Aprajit made 16 runs for Rising Star. For BCA, Ramneek took 3 wickets whereas Gitansh and Hanzla took 1 wicket each.
