JAMMU, Oct 1: Air India Jammu Station celebrated Hindi Diwas at reservation office which was inaugurated by Station Manager, Jammu, Parmod Kumar.
During the programme, various competitions under different categories were held.
In poetry competition, Johnson Gill won the first prize, Kanika Sharma second and Rajni Jandyal got the third prize while Kanika Sharma, Kumar Hergauri and Shyam Singh clinched the first, second and third prize respectively in debate competition.
The Station Manager expressed gratitude to Padamshree Dr Jitender Udhampuri and Dr Amar Singh, Secretary Town Official Implementation Committee for their support.
Dr Jitender highlighted the importance of hindi and emphasized the need of promotion of this language to the optimum.
Dr Amar Singh also appreciated the program and threw light on the significance of the day.
The Station Manager also appreciated the participants who took part in the competition and made the day a special occasion.
