UDHAMPUR, Oct 13: In the week long celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of Indian Air Force, a Cross-Country event ‘Run-for- fun’ was organised at Air Force Station Udhampur, here today.
All the air warriors, families and children enthusiastically took part in the run which was flagged off by Station Commander Group Captain, DP Hirani in wee hours.
It was conducted for children, ladies, senior citizens and air warriors in different categories.
Madhu Hirani, president Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Local) gave away the prize to children and ladies.
Group Captain Hirani gave away the prizes to the air warriors and complimented all personnel for their whole hearted participation in the event and making it a success.
