SRINAGAR, Aug 13: AG’s XI and Lone Star Club defeated their rivals convincingly in the ongoing Khyber Super Division Big Premier Football League, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) at Synthetic Turf Play Field, here today.
In the first match, AG’s XI defeated Safaloo Club by two goals to one (2-1). Shahnawaz was the goal scorer for AG’s XI in the 10th minute of the match, but the equalizer came from Safaloo Club in the 14th minute through Umer Mushtaq. However, AG’s players came back strongly and scored the second goal through Amanjot Singh to win the match by (2-1).
In another match, Lone Star KFC defeated Young Maharaja Football Club by three goals to nil. Akib scored the first two goals in 44th and 62nd minutes, the third goal was netted by Faizan to win the match by (3-0).
