Advisor Khan dedicates KCSC Complex to sportspersons of J&K

JAMMU, Feb 11: Advisor to the Lt Governor Farooq Khan today formally inaugurated KC Sports Club Complex and dedicated it to the sports persons and sports lovers of Jammu & Kashmir.
Retired ADGP S.S Wazir, Chairman of KC Group Raju Chowdhary, Managing Director of KC Sports Club Complex Arjun Chowdhary, Chief Prosecuting Officer and former Ranji Trophy Player Rajesh Gill and Principal of KC Public School Amarendra Kumar Mishra were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering of students, Advisor Khan expressed pleasure on seeing the enthusiasm and excellence showcased by the upcoming sports stars of the country. Urging students to make sports a regular part of their day to day lives, he said that sports teach us valuable lessons of team spirit, punctuality, hard work besides keeping us physically and mentally fit.
He congratulated the sports club and school on producing young sportspersons like star gymnast Bavleen Kour and other gifted players who are making a mark in the national and international level sports contests.
The Advisor also interacted with young sports persons practicing at the club. He interacted with J&K’s under 14 boys cricket team attending a 10 day sports camp at the sports club, having participating players from all across the UT.
