UDHAMPUR, Sept 19: On the second day, two matches were played in Udhampur Cricket Tournament organized by State Cricket Academy under the ages of State Sports Council at Subash Sports Stadium Udhampur. The first match was played between Lakshya Cricket Academy and ACC Udhampur.
Lakshya Cricket Academy won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 87 runs in the allotted 20 overs. S Chand and Uday Partap Singh contributed 21 and 13 runs respectively. Sunil, Vikas and Ankit of ACC claimed two wickets each.
While chasing a small total, ACC made 88 runs in 15.1 overs. Deepak Thakur (45 runs) and Sunil Bhagat (28 runs) were the main scorers from ACC team. Sunil Bhagat was declared as the man of the match who contributed 28 runs for his team clinched 2 wickets of opposite team.
The second match was played between Armature Cricket Club (Junior) and Ramnagar Cricket Club. ACC junior won the toss and choose to bat first. ACC junior scored 141 runs for opposite team. Manish (38 runs), Sparsh (35 runs) and Pawan (26 runs) were the main scorers, while chasing the target RCC scored130 runs in 20 overs. ACC junior won the match by 11 runs. Manish was declared as the man of the match.
