JAMMU, Jan 29: Abhikshit Mahajan, son of Vijay Mahajan of district Kishtwar left today to participate in 4th AL-AHLI Dubai open International Karate Championship to be held from tomorrow to February 1, 2015 at Dubai (UAE).
Abhikshit will be the part of Indian Karate Team under the banner of Karate Association of India (KAI) recognized by Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Member World Karate Federation.
Earlier, the selection of the team was made by KAI at New Delhi.
The championship is being conducted under the banner of WKF and patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid AL Maktan (Crown Prince of Dubai).
Ambedkar Gupta, president of AKAJK is also representing as team coach of KAI in this championship.
