Aarav Mahajan sparkles in MGCA’s win

JAMMU, July 9: Promising youngster Aarav Mahajan carried his bat through in his unbeaten knock of 51 runs in a friendly cricket match between Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy (MGCA) and MIER Cricket Academy at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Batting first, MGCA scored 138 runs in the stipulated 35 overs. Opening batsman Aarav carried his bat through and remained unbeaten after scoring a magnificent half-century (51). He along with another youngster Udhay Partap Singh showed class and temperament. Udhay scored valuable 46 runs, while Arin Sharma contributed 29 runs. For MIER ca, Puniya Raina and Nirbhay claimed one wicket each.
In reply, MIER bundled out for 91 runs. Arya Suvansh top scored with 17 runs, while Karmanya contributed 12 runs. Aprajit and Harsh chipped in with 10 runs each. For MGCA, Nityam took 3 wickets, while Prabjot and Ayush bagged 2 each and Arjun claimed one.
