PULWAMA July 9: In order to nurture the talent and skill of the budding cricketers, Pulwama based Rashtriya Rifles organized District Level Under-19 Cricket Tournament which concluded here today.
With a total of 20 teams participating in the event, the finals of the Tournament was played today between Srinagar International School, Patalbagh and HSS Arihal at DPL, Pulwama.
The thrilling Sunday witnessed a sensational show of the sporting skills and talent with a zeal to win the game.
Besides the players being felicitated with trophies, medals and cash prizes, the event also saw specially-abled persons being co-ordially invited who were presented with 5 wheel chairs, 4 hearing aids, 6 spectacles and 7 crutches by commander, 12 sector Rashtriya Rifles and Commanding Officer, 55 Rashtriya Rifles (grenadiers).
The local people appreciated the noble gesture of the Indian Army.
