Hafeez elected as president JKRA

SRINAGAR, Apr 14: Deputy Commissioner, Kupwara, Sarmaz Hafeez has been elected as the President of Jammu and Kashmir Rugby Association (JKRA).
Elections of the JKRA were held today and Sarmad was elected as the President of the Association. Aijaz Ahmad Chisti was elected as the senior vice-president while as Farooq Ahmad Rather and Nazir Hussain were elected as vice-presidents for Kashmir and Jammu divisions respectively.
Irfan Aziz Butta was elected as the general secretary while as Ravinder Singh and Ashiq Hussain Zargar were elected as joint secretaries for Jammu and Kashmir divisions respectively. Farooq Ahmad was elected as treasurer of the Association.
The elections were held under the supervision of Tabasum Gillani, Member, State Sports Council and an observer from Indian Rugby Football Union and Jammu and Kashmir Olympic Association.
