JAMMU, Oct 5: Jammu District emerged overall champion while District Doda remained runners-up in the Inter-District Divisional Level Shooting competition for all age groups boys and girls, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Jammu at International Delhi Public School (IDPS), Channi, here.
The competitions were organized under the patronage of Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, Director General Youth Services & Sports and under the Chairmanship of Madan Lal, Joint Director (J), while Sukhdev Raj Sharma, District Youth Services & Sports Officer Ramban was the Organising Secretary of the event.
In all, 5 districts of Jammu division took part in the competition.
Former Minister, Priya Sethi was the chief guest in the inaugural ceremony, while Zonal Physical Education Officer (ZPEO) RS Pura, Chander Kanta and Randeep Wazir, Principal of IDPS were present on the occasion.
The winners and the runners-up teams were presented medals and trophies by the dignitaries on the concluding ceremony.
The objective of the competitions was to select the teams for the next level of competitions.
