SAMBA, Nov 10: Two days Samba District Athletics Competitions, organized by Samba District Athletics Association under the aegis of J&K Amateur Athletics Association concluded today at Smailpur stadium.
On the valedictory function, Mulkh Raj, Sahil Singh, Nirmal Singh and Rakesh Singh distributed medals among the top three position holders.
In under-14 100 meters (girls), Kajal Changotra, Sania Choudhary and Ritika secured first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in 200 meters, Kajal Changotra, Tania Kundal and Ruhi Bharti emerged winners.
In under-14 100 meters (boys), Rishikesh Changotra, Ricky Kundal and Varun Kumar bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in 600 meters, Rishikesh Changotra, Ricky Kundal and Varun Kumar emerged winners.
In under-16 100 meters (girls), Ridhi Bhagat, Seema Changotra and Ishika Katal emerged winners, whereas in 200 meters, Ridhi Bhagat, Seema Changotra and Ishika Katal clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In under-16 100 meters (boys), Akhileshwar Singh, Dheeraj Kumar and Uttam Chand clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in 200 meters, Akhileshwar Singh, Rishi Bhagat and Uttam Chand bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In Shotput Open (boys), Rahul, Ranjay Pathania and Govind bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in 1500 meters open boys, Neeraj Singh, Amit and Vikas clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In Long Jump Open (boys), Ranjay Pathania, Sibbam Singh and Anurag clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in 100 meters Open (boys), Rajesh Kumar, Rahul Sharma and Rahul Sharma bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In 200 meters Open (boys), Gourav Baloria, Rahul Sharma and Rahul Sharma bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in 400 meters Open boys, Amit Kumar, Sanjeev Singh and Yogesh Sharma bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
In 800 meters Open (boys), Neeraj Singh, Vishal Singh and Nitin Mahajan bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
