Sub Jr Karate team flagged off

JAMMU, Apr 18: J&K Sub Junior Karate team was screened and flagged off for KAI Sub Junior National Karate Championships 2018 by Sunil Sharma, Minister of State for Sports and President Amateur Karate Do Association of Jammu and Kashmir (AKAJK) at Indoor Multi Purpose Hall, here.
The Championship is being held at Talkatotra Indoor Stadium, New Delhi from April 20 to April 22, 2018.
About 21 students from different districts of Jammu and Kashmir are going to participate in the event.
Rahil Gupta, Vice President AKAJK, Ambedkar Gupta, General Secretary, Ravi Singh, Divisional Sports Officer (J) J&K Sports Council and Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Complex were present during the flag off function.
Deepika Chauhan, Deepa Sharma, Charan Singh , Anil Sharma, Waseem Hassan and Saurav Mehra will accompany the team as officials.
The Team: Vaibhav, Ishan, Sushil Kumar, Sushant, Shatru Dhaman, Zulfikar Ali, Adil Bashir, Mumukshu, Manu Bharti,  Waseem, Khurshid, Asgar Ali, Devesh Mahajan, Arindham Sangra Afeefa, Nandini Raina, Janhavi, Yanchan Lama, Mehbooba, Garima Singh and Shreeya Labroo.
