JDCA of Parade Sports Asso to hold Cricket Tourney of Rural Clubs

JAMMU, Feb 20: Newly framed Jammu District Cricket Alliance (JDCA) by Parade Sports Association (PSA), a registered Sports Body is organizing an Open Cricket Tournament of Rural Clubs in the memory of recently martyred soldiers in Sunjuwan Army camp attack, here.
The Tournament will be organized at Parade ground Jammu from March 4.
According to the organizers, no entry fees will be charged from the participating teams.
JDCA apart from this Tournament is aiming at organizing intra-district, inter-district and inter-provincial tournaments round the year with an aim to promote cricket in the State and associate with Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) to hunt cricket talent in Jammu City and its rural areas.
JDCA has invited the cricket clubs/players (men and women) desirous to take part in this tournament and other events to register themselves with the alliance at an earliest.
The organizers also claimed that the talented players from these tournaments will be selected for coaching camps under renowned cricketers and coaches to be held at regular intervals at Parade ground.
The cricketers of repute will also help the budding cricketers to prepare themselves for their selection in J&K State cricket teams.
