JAMMU, July 26: A meeting of office bearers of J&K Strength Lifting Association was held here today under the chairmanship of Vicky Mahajan, president of the Association.
The members decided that Strength Lifting competitions will be held at grass-root levels like district level, block level etc.
It was also decided in the meeting that team from J&K will be sent to participate in the forthcoming National Strength Lifting Championship at Assam.
The Association further decided to organize a State Level Championship in Jammu in the month of November this year.
Ashok Singh, Technical Director of Association; Raman Sharma, Satpal Sharma, Bhanu Dev Singh, Varun Sharma and others were also present in the meeting.
