JAMMU, May 26: The senior wing of Jodhamal Public School organized a function today in its premises.
The event was attended by Ayushi Sudan, Deputy Commissioner of Samba, as the chief guest. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting followed by a choir performance.
Principal Amita Arora addressed the gathering and emphasized that leadership should always be guided by discipline, honesty, and teamwork. During the highlight of the event, the newly elected student leaders received their badges and sashes and took the oath of office administered by the Principal.
Addressing the gathering, Ayushi Sudan shared insights from her journey in public service, encouraging students to pursue leadership with determination, discipline, and commitment. The ceremony also featured the flag presentation, group photograph, and addresses by the newly appointed Head Girl Praanya Puri and Head Boy Amaay Gupta.
School Trustee Nandan Kuthiala, Arati Kuthiala, and Director Deep Khare encouraged the newly appointed council to lead with humility, confidence, and responsibility.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by CCA coordinator Namrata Sharma.
