VS Sports Club shines in Judo competition

JAMMU, May 10: VS Sports Club Jammu delivered an impressive performance at the 3rd Shaheed Bhagat Singh Open Judo Tournament held at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium Bawana, Delhi. Coached by Manish Chatwal, the Jammu-based club secured multiple medals in Mini Sub-Junior and Sub-Junior categories.
In Mini Sub-Junior Girls, Raifa Kouser won a silver medal, while Mahvish Choudhary, Muskan Chib and Tabasam Khan secured bronze medals. In Sub-Junior Boys, Rajveer Singh clinched a silver medal.
Coach Manish Chatwal appreciated the performance of his trainees and said the results reflect their hard work, discipline and dedication. He added that the young judokas showed strong fighting spirit and promising potential for future competitions.
The tournament, organised in memory of Shaheed Bhagat Singh, aimed to promote judo at the grassroots level and encourage youth participation in sports.
