UDHAMPUR, Feb 26: The 3rd and 4th match of the ongoing Volleyball Tournament under the Civic Action Programme were held at the SRTC Campus of 137 Bn CRPF, Udhampur today. The tournament is being organised in coordination with the Volleyball Association, Udhampur (J&K).
The event was attended by Commandant MK Sicon, Second-in-Command Kartar Singh and other senior officers of 137 Bn CRPF. Ashok Padha, President of Volleyball Association, Udhampur, along with officials, media personnel, CRPF jawans and local residents were present to encourage the players.
The 3rd match was played between UVC Volleyball Club and Ramnagar Volleyball Club, while the 4th match featured Fusion Club against Veer Volleyball Club. Both matches displayed high energy, competitive spirit and excellent teamwork by the participating teams.
Trophies, medals, sports kits and refreshments were distributed as per tournament schedule. Coaches and officials guided the youth on fitness, discipline and teamwork. Local residents appreciated the initiative and requested the CRPF to continue organising such constructive sporting events for youth engagement in the future.
