JAMMU, Nov 22: The Jammu Module of State Bank of India Officers’ Association (SBIOA) hosted an Inter-Region Cricket Tournament today at Country Cricket Stadium, Amb Gharota, featuring teams from Admin Strikers, RBO 2 Bashers, RBO 3 Avengers and RBO 5 Dominators.
Deputy General Manager Jayant Mani was the chief guest, while Deputy General Secretary Rajesh Mehta welcomed all teams. The toss for the first match was conducted by Regional Manager RBO 2 Jammu Ajay Kamdi and for the second by Assistant General Manager CM Bhat. In the matches, RBO 2 Bashers defeated RBO 3 Avengers by 22 runs, Admin Strikers beat RBO 5 Dominators by 8 wickets and Admin Strikers won the final against RBO 2 Bashers by 19 runs to claim the series title.
Trophies and awards were presented by Jayant Mani, Rajesh Mehta and CM Bhat. Admin Strikers received the winning team trophy, RBO 2 Bashers the Runner-up Trophy. Individual awards included Umesh Kumar (Most Valuable Player and Best Batsman), Amit Koul (Best Bowler and Man of the Match – 1st match), Umesh Kumar (Man of the Match – 2nd match) and Vishal Charak (Man of the Match – 3rd match).
