JAMMU, July 29: DBN Vidya Mandir, Amarvilla organized an insightful Career Counselling Session for Class 11 and 12 students, led by Trilok Singh Bist-a CBSE National Teacher Awardee (2016-17), UCLA certified career counsellor and seasoned educational mentor. The session was attended by education dignitaries including Bharat Bhushan (renowned educationist), Co-manager Darshan Lal, Principal Ranju Malhotra and Principal Neetu Gupta from SNS Vidya Mandir.
The programme began with a warm welcome followed by?Bist’s engaging presentation on both traditional and emerging career paths. He covered respected professions in engineering, medicine, commerce, defence, civil services, law and humanities, alongside modern areas such as Data Science & AI, Cyber security & Graphic Design, Digital Marketing & Content Creation, Environmental Science & Sustainability, Sports Management, Psychology & Mental Health, Game Design & Animation, Event Management & Hospitality, Entrepreneurship & Startups.
Bist encouraged students to embrace originality, think creatively and align their future choices with their intrinsic interests. He emphasised the strategic importance of goal setting, personal branding and skill-building to gain a competitive edge.
