JU’s Inter-Department Cricket Tourney 2025–26 (Men)

JAMMU, May 28: The third day of the Inter-Departmental Cricket Tournament 2025–26 for Men at the University of Jammu witnessed intense competition, high energy and outstanding sportsmanship at the University Cricket Ground.
In the first match, the Department of Distance & Online Education (DD & OE) defeated the Geology Department by a commanding margin of 108 runs. DD & OE posted a total of 180/5 in 15 overs, with standout performances from Vikshay, who scored 53 runs and took 2 wickets and Dinesh with 42 runs.
The Geology Department managed only 72/6 in their 15 overs, with Ujjwal contributing 27 runs. The second match saw a thrilling finish as the Economics Department edged past the Political Science Department by just 3 runs, scoring 138/4, while Political Science ended at 135/6. In the final match, the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (SHTM) secured a dominant 79-run victory over the Zoology Department. SHTM made 145/5, thanks to Ishtiaq’s 51 and Anirudh’s 48, while Zoology were all out for 66. Match officials included Vijay Kumar, Ashok Singh, Raj Kumar Bakshi and Anirudh Singh.
