Romesh wins double Bronze at Masters Badminton C’ship

JAMMU, Feb 8: Romesh Sharma, a retired engineer from the J&K Government and the senior-most active Badminton player from J&K UT, has made the region proud by winning two bronze medals at the prestigious All India Masters Ranking Badminton Tournament. Held by the Haryana Badminton Association in Panchkula, the tournament saw fierce competition from top players across the country.
Romesh clinched a bronze in the Men’s Doubles 60+ age category, partnering with Umesh Aggarwal from Rajasthan. Their excellent synergy and determination led them to this remarkable achievement. In the Mixed Doubles category, Romesh paired with Alka Batra, also from Rajasthan, to secure another well-deserved bronze.
