Atul Gupta gets rousing welcome at Jammu

JAMMU, Aug 10: Atul Kumar Gupta, president All J and K Chess Association and joint secretary AICF got a rousing welcome at Jammu Airport on his return from the Chess Olympiad, here today.
Members of the Association congratulated him for being part of the organizing committee as a chief protocol officer for 44th Chess Olympiad wherein a record 187 countries of the world participated.
Sharing his experience, Atul said that it was the most challenging job of the Olympiad as due to the highest magnitude of the event. The pressure was very high all the time. He worked at least 20-21 hours every day during the Olympiad to make it a grand success.
He thanked Bharat Singh Chauhan, Tournament Director of 44th Chess Olympiad for having faith in him to perform at a highly responsible position in the biggest sports event of the world. He also thanked all the members of All J&K Chess Association for always supporting all initiatives for the development of Chess in J&K.
