8 teams selected for phase-II of Jagruk Hindustani Premier Volleyball League

JAMMU, Apr 26: The Phase-1 of Jagruk Hindustani Premier Volleyball League, being organized under the Western Command and Rising Star Corps concluded, today.
In the final matches played in the various border Tehsils, Pallawala defeated Sadyal Youth Club, Pargawal thrashed Molu, Ala prevailed over Fathu Chak, Pindi Chak got better of Kaulpur, Mela Club defeated Harkeet Club, Janial outplayed 2r, Hiranagar trounced Upper Mela and Jatwal defeated Samba.
All these eight winning teams have been selected to play in Phase-II of the event coming from May 3, 2016 and being played at Samba.
In Phase-II, Pallawala team will be known as Jammu Kings, Pargawal team will be named as Damana Sunrisers, Ala teams will be called as RS Pura Tigers, Pindi Camp team will be named as BD Badi Jaguars, Mela Club team will be known as Kathua Janbaaz, Janial 2 team will be called as Rajbagh Warriors, Jatwal team will be known as Samba Daredevils and Hiranagar team will be called as Hiranagar Hurricanes.
The organizers are expecting that the Phase-II will turn out to be a mega event and there will be some stiff challenges.
The final match is scheduled at Samba on May 14,  2016.
