JAMMU, Apr 26: The 11th General Body Meeting of Mochhi Pholi Saeth Athrot Trust (MPSAT), Jammu was held under the chairmanship of its chairman, Veer Ji Bhat at the Ashram of Karamyogi TN Bhan, Durga Nagar, here.
Sheela Handoo was the special invitee in the meeting. She lauded the efforts of the trustees and appreciated the role of the trust in helping deserving and needy. Mr Bhat deliberated on mechanism and policies of the trust.
Dr Ravinder Raina, RL Koul and SK Razdan spoke on the occasion and stressed for elimination of social evils from the community.
PL Dhar, president Nagrota Welfare Coordination Committee while speaking on the occasion assured all possible assistance and appreciated the services rendered by the trust to the community.
Treasurer of the trust, RL Bhat presented Annual Balance Sheet which showed that the Trust has provided financial assistance of Rs 239740 for medical, education and marriage purposes. The report also showed that the payment of Rs 51000 has been made among the deserving families in the month of April 2016.
The proceedings of the meeting were conducted by SL Koul.
Prominent among those present on occasion were Inder Jeet Pandita, Sunil Raina, Vinod Zutshi, KL Koul, AK Dhar and Manoj Kumar.
