JAMMU, Dec 23: Eight cueists entered into the next stage of the Senior Snooker, which got underway at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium here today.
In the first match, Akshay Kumar defeated Abhishek Goswami by 2-1 frames, whereas in the second match, Shahbaz Ali registered win over Akash Chhetri by straight 2-0 frames.
Mudassar Ashiq defeated Jaswinder Singh by 2-0 frames in the third match and in the fourth match, Sahil Kumar beat Rahul Gupta by 2-0 frames.
In the fifth match, Vicky Wazir beat Mukesh Kapahi by 2-0 frames and in the sixth match, Saksham Gupta defeated Athar Shafi by 2-0 frames.
Vikran registered win over Shubham Dubey by 2-0 frames in the seventh match and Ejaz Ali beat Gurjeev Singh by 2-0 frames in the eighth match.
