75 kms Flag run organised on ‘75th Independence Day’

JAMMU, Aug 16: Indian Runners and Bathinda Runners organised virtual run of 75 kilometres on the occasion of 75th Independence Day wherein ultra-runners of the Jammu along with others participated in the run by holding Indian Flags.
Ultra runners including Rajesh Padha and Manminder Kour participated in 75 Kms along with others runners which was started from the Main Stop Gandhi Nagar to Main Bazaar Samba and culminated at starting point after completing 75 km run in humid temperature.
Ultra-runner Manminder Kour completed her run with clocked timing 09:56:00 in 45 years plus category, whereas Ultra-runner Rajesh Pandha completed his 75 kms runs with clocked timing 10:05:00 in 60 years plus category besides Abishiek Gupta-another ultra runner and Vikram Sahi completed the run in 40 plus and 45 plus years with clocked timings 08:26:00 and 09:05:00 respectively.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Indians Runners along with Bathinda Runners had organised 100 Kms runs on the occasion of previous year Independence Day, while 72 Kms run was organised on this year’s Republic Day function.
