Srinagar, Nov 29: In yet another feat, a seven-year-old boy from North Kashmir’s Bandipora district has won gold medal in Asian Youth Karate Championship by beating his Sri Lankan rival at national capital.
Reports said Hashim Mansoor won a gold medal by beating a Sri Lankan in finals at Talkatora stadium in New Delhi. Earlier, Mansoor had defeated his Bhutanese and Malaysian rivals, said President J&K Youth Karate Federation, Ghulam Nabi Tantray.  “This was possible because of hard work of Mansoor’s coach Fasil Ali Dar,” he said.
Earlier, Tajamul Islam, an under-eight girl, had set a record by winning World Kickboxing championship at Italy by defeating her rival from United States. Interestingly, Faisal Ali Dar was also coach of Tajamul Islam and with another historical achievement; he has earned praise from all quarters.
