Chandigarh, June 11:
Haryana Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Anil Vij today said 600 sports nurseries would be opened to boost sports in the State.
About 440 nurseries are already functioning in the state.
Players, who regularly practice in these nurseries, are paid stipend of Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,000 per month so that they can meet their requirements and do not pose any additional burden on their parents. (PTI)
