JAMMU, May 31: 52nd Annual Aghar Jitto Kesari Vishal Dangal will be organized by Shri Baba Jitto Mandir Development Committee Aghar Jittoo in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association at Village Agar Jitto in district Reasi tomorrow.
The competition will be organized in the memory of great revolutionary farmers Baba Jitto and Bua Kouri during annual three days historic Aghar Jitto Mela commencing from tomorrow to June 3.
The decision regarding organizing this Vishal Dangal was taken in a meeting held under the chairmanship of President J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association and Treasurer Indian Style Wrestling Association of India Shiv Kumar Sharma.
The meeting was also attended by Mohan Lal Baba, Sarpanch Krishan Singh, Headmaster Gopal Krishan, Ramesh Kumar Sanmotra, Mangat Ram, besides many other prominent persons.
Shiv Kumar Sharma while speaking informed that nearly 60 wrestlers from various parts of the State and outside besides BSF and J&K Police will take part in this competition.
Sharma said that winner of the first malli bout will be awarded with the “Aghar Jitto Kesari 2015” title, traditional Silver Gurj (Gadda), Patta and handsome cash prize.
