SRINAGAR, Oct 24: The 4th J&K-UT Yogasana Sports Championship 2023-2024 organized by Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Yogasana Sports Association concluded at Sher-i-Kashmir Indoor Stadium, here today.
The Championship was held in Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior both in Boys- Girls and Men-Women categories in which more than 300 participants from 18 districts of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory participated in different events of the championship.
The championship was witnessed by large number of spectators from all over J&K-UT with great enthusiasm; Dr Raqib Rassol Parry, General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Yogasana Sports Association and Organized Secretary Basit Wani along with other office bearers of the Jammu & Kashmir Yogasana Sports Association conducted the 4th J&K Yogasana Sports Championship 2023-2024 with great success.
Chief guest, Nuzhat Gull Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council gave away the prizes to the position holders of the championship. She also encouraged the Yogasana Athletes by showcasing their talent in the championship.
Guests of honour, Sheikh Riyaz Ahmad Administrative Officer Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, Shabir Ahmad Dar Senior Yoga Coach J&K Sports Council, Dr Imran, Hilal Ahmad, Manager SKISC were also present. Toiba Nazir of Srinagar District and Bilal Ahmed Dar from Budgam District were declared best players of the championship in male and female categories.
