3rd Police Martyrs Memorial Volleyball Tournament from today

UDHAMPUR, Apr 29: To be organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Police Department, the 3rd Police Martyrs Memorial Volleyball Tournament will begin at Mini Stadium Udhampur from tomorrow.
The Tournament carries a cash prize of Rs 21,000 for the winners, while, the first runner-up and second runner-up team will receive a cash prize of Rs 15,000 and Rs 11,000 respectively, along with trophies and certificates.
10 teams drawn from different districts of the State including Poonch, Kathua, Ramban, Reasi, Jammu, Udhampur and a team from Valley are participating in the event.
According to the organizers, Rs 2000 will be given to the man of the match in every match of the tournament.
Opening ceremony of the tournament will be held at Mini Stadium Udhampur at 4 pm tomorrow, while the closing ceremony will held on May 2, 2013.
This tournament is being organized under the overall supervision of DIG of Police Udhampur-Reasi Range, Garib Dass, who will be inaugurating the tournament, while SSP Udhampur, Benam Tosh will be chairman of the Organizing Committee.
