JAMMU, Nov 19: Shri Ram Universal School (SRUS) Jammu celebrated its 3rd Founders’ Day with enthusiasm and gaiety, here today.
Archana Singh, Founder Director, Shaurya Foundation Lucknow was the chief guest while Rajender Shah, Associate Vice President (Operations) SEL; Dr Deepti Srivastava, Sr Manager (Operations) SEL, Sanjeev Gupta, Chairman of the School Managing Committee, Rajni Gupta, Director TSUS Jammu and Principal of the School, Rajesh Rathore were also present during the function.
The celebration was inaugurated with lighting of the ceremonial lamp and floral felicitation-bouquet presentation, followed by presentation of a prayer dance by the talented Shiites.
Principal of the School, Rajesh Rathore delivered his welcome address, highlighting the salient features of the school. He appreciated parents for reposing their trust in the institution and lauded the members of the staff for grooming the students with their commitment, dedication and passionate endeavours.
The cultural programme was a kaleidoscope of dances and medley of songs, which captivated the audience. Beautifully choreographed dances and songs made everyone feel fascinated. It was followed by the ‘felicitation of teachers’, as a recognition to their outstanding contributions during the challenging COVID times.
The chief guest expressed her joy on watching the School children in action. She applauded the creativity, presentation and confidence level of students. She invoked students to explore their full potential and stay focused till they turn their dreams into reality.
Chairman Sanjeev Gupta and Director of the school Rajni Gupta appreciated the creative efforts of students and teachers in making the Founders’ Day celebrations absolutely cherishing under the guidance of Sujata Raina, the Activity Coordinator.
