JAMMU, Dec 21: Christian Sports Organization, J&K in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Police and Jammu and Kashmir Football Association is organizing 2nd Christmas Soccer Championship from December 23, 2013 at GGM Science College Football Ground, here.
This was stated by Fr Kuriakose, Chairman Christian Sports Organization in a meeting held at Gandhi Nagar Church, today.
The main objective of the tournament is to promote communal harmony and Peace, besides promoting sports culture in the State.
The meeting regarding the final arrangements for the conduct of the Championship was held under the Chairmanship of Fr Kuriakose at Gandhi Nagar Church. The other members of the organization who attended the meeting included Nicodemus Patron, Rajesh Gill, Easther William, Markes Gill, David Mattoo, Victor Sotra, Sampaul Gill, Elijah Sotra, Moon Stephan, Sunny Gill, Raj Kumar Verma, Asif Gill and Naveen Athwal.
The participating teams include J&K Police, JK Bank, JK PDC, JK Forest, JK SRTC, Churchill Brothers, Jammu Sports, NGR Club, Jammu United Club, Sainik Club, Young Rovers, Vijay Club, JK Bank Academy and Young Hero Club.
