JAMMU, Sept 20: Twenty eight players of Jammu and Kashmir have been selected for Sub Junior, Junior, Senior and Master Unequipped (Men and Women) National Power Lifting Championship, which will be held at Idukki Kerala from September 26 to 30.
The team was selected by All J&K State Power Lifting Association on the basis of recently conducted J&K State Power Lifting Championship.
Before the final selection, the team underwent a screening test conducted by J&K Sports Council official namely Satish Gupta, Manager Indoor Complex MA Stadium Jammu. The officials of the association namely Ajay Sharma General Secretary, Rahul Sawhney Senior Vice President and Ajeet Pal Singh Executive Member were present during the screening of the team.
The team is being accompanied by Ajay Sharma National Referee Category-I and Rahul Sawhney National Referee Category-II as Coach.
Women Team: Sapna Jain, Rashika Handa, Surbi Bali, Ruby Sharma and Juhi Gupta.
Men Team: Jagdev Singh, Ankush Sundan, Samarjeet, Amandeep Bassan, Roshan Sharma, Jagbir Singh, Vikramjeet Singh, Chetan Dogra, Abhishek Negi, Sunil Chib, Gourav Sharma, Amandev Singh, Ronit Verma, Vishal Sudan, Aatish Sharma, Mahul Verma, Akshay Mahajan, Aryan Sharma, Arjun Badal, Sumit Sharma, Lakbir Kumar, Rajesh Gupta and Ajay Kumar.
