SAMBA, Dec 25: District Samba Wushu Championship commenced at newly constructed Indoor Hall, here today, which was inaugurated by former DIG Ashok Kumar Atri and president Central Zone National Conference.
More than 200 players from different Clubs and Schools participated in today’s events in sub junior boys and girls categories, while junior and senior boys and girls will fight for their yellow petal, tomorrow.
The other dignitaries including Principal GOW Brahma School, Kalpana Gupta, DySP Samba Usmaan choudhary and SHO Deepak Jasrotia were present during the event. The chief guest congratulated the District Association for organizing such an event as well as providing a platform to young budding players.
The District Association thanked Secretary Sports Council, Nuzhat Gul and Divisional Sports Officer, Ashok for patronizing Wushu sport and providing all types of support for the game.
