1st Taekwondo UT level referee seminar inaugurated

KARGIL, Nov 7: The 1st Ladakh UT level referee seminar in Taekwondo for new referees was inaugurated by District Youth Service and Sports Officer, Muhammad Hussain Rehnuma at Indoor Stadium, here today.
More than 11 Black Belt holders are participating in the seminar, which is being conducted by Ladakh Taekwondo Association under the overall supervision of technical expert and international referee, Zaheer Abbas Khan- 4th Dan Black Belt.
Mohammad Hussain Rehnuma while interacting with the players said that Taekwondo has been flourishing under the leadership of Gulzar Hussain Munshi in the last 22 years in Ladakh and produced dozens of international and national players so far.
He congratulated the Association for organizing the first UT level seminar before the 1st Ladakh UT Taekwondo Championship.
Gulzar Hussain Munshi thanked president of India Taekwondo Namdev Shirgaonkar for giving permission to conduct the 1st Ladakh UT Taekwondo Championship and said that the president has assured to be present on the final of the championship.
On this occasion, president Ladakh Kaza Qurash Association and general secretary District Kargil Olympic Association Syed Mehraj Shah, president Ladakh Adventure Sports and Ladakh Qwankhido Association Shah Nawaz Var, Safdar Ali general secretary Ladakh Wushu Association, Anayat Ali Shotopa general secretary Ladakh Taekwondo Association and Executive Members of Ladakh Taekwondo Association were also present. Later, mementos were distributed among the guests.
