JAMMU, Nov 7: On the basis of their performance in the Inter District Swimming Competition organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports in Jammu last month, 15 girls and boys of KC Public School have been selected to represent the UT of J&K at the National Level Swimming Meet scheduled to be held at Talkatora Gardens Indoor Sports Complex, New Delhi from November 17 to 23.
In the girls’ category, Samya Vaid, Sanvi Andotra, Tanisha Gupta, Anushka Koul, Anika Gandotra, Chetna Shree, Jhanvi Khola, Xena Bandhu and Garima Bhat have been selected for the competition, whereas in the boys’ category, Mujtaba-ul-Hassan, Ehsaas Digra, Sushant Singh, Sawan Vaid, Arnav Vaid and Vikas Koul have made it to the national level.
School Principal Amarendra Kumar Mishra has congratulated the students and their swimming coach Babita Jamwal for their great achievement and wished them success at the national level.
