JAMMU, Nov 18: 13 top teams across the country are participating in the Raizada Perhlad Bali Memorial Handball Federation Gold Cup, to be organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Handball Association, under the aegis of Handball Federation of India at Mini Stadium Parade, here from November 20, 2013.
This was informed by SM Bali, president, J&K Handball Association and Secretary General Handball Federation of India while taking to media persons at Press Club, here today.
Mr Bali said that Handball Federation of India has allotted us the tournament after we made a request for the same, adding the tournament was scheduled to be held in the month and due to law and order problem it was postponed.
He said the Championship is being held in the memory of late Perhlad Bali, father of Secretary General Handball Federation of India.
The participating teams included CRPF, BSF, Punjab Police, Air Force, MEG Bangalore, Red Army Hyderabad, Air Force Jammu, MP, UP, HP, Haryana, Delhi and hosts J&K.
