100 golfers to participate in WHS Sports Hub Golf Cup 2026

SRINAGAR, May 13: Around 100 golfers from across the country are expected to participate in the WHS Sports Hub Golf Cup 2026, scheduled to be held at the Royal Springs Golf Course here on May 23 and 24.
The two-day amateur golf tournament, organised by WHS Sports Hub, is being projected as one of the emerging golfing events in Jammu and Kashmir and is aimed at promoting sports tourism and elite sporting experiences in the Valley.
The tournament will be held at the Royal Springs Golf Course, a championship golf facility designed by noted golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Jr.
According to the organisers, the event will bring together corporate players, business leaders and sports enthusiasts from different parts of the country for competitive golf and hospitality activities.
The competition will feature league-based formats including Better Ball Pairs and Greensome Pairs, besides on-course contests, morning shotgun starts, gala lunches, curated goodie bags and multiple prize categories.
The event is being organised by WHS Sports Hub co-founders Farid Singh and Viraj Singh, who said the initiative is aimed at professionally promoting sporting events in Jammu and Kashmir and positioning the Union Territory as a destination for high-end sports events.
The tournament is open to amateur golfers in both men’s and women’s categories.
