JAMMU, Oct 8: Army Public School (APS), Akhnoor emerged winner in Northern Command’ Inter School English and Hindi Debate Competition, held today at APS Akhnoor.
The schools which participated in the competition were APS Udhampur, APS Dhar Road, APS Nagrota, APS Rakhmuthi and APS Akhnoor.
Principal, APS Akhnoor, inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp along with the judges from KV No 2 Akhnoor, DAV School Akhnoor and Boys Higher Secondary School, Akhnoor.
APS Akhnoor got first position in both English and Hindi Debate Competition. The runner up trophy in Hindi was won by APS Udhampur while the runner up trophy in English was won by APS Nagrota.
The best Speaker award in Hindi was shared by Muskan Chib and Priyanka Devi from APS Akhnoor and Shivi Badyal from APS Udhampur whereas the best Speaker in English Debate was Putkar Verma from APS Nagrota.
