REASI, Dec 23: Zorawar Cricket Club and Dewal Cricket Club registered emphatic victories over their rivals in the T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Reasi Police under Civic Action Programme at Sports Stadium, here.
In the first match, Zorawar Club defeated SRCC Jyotipuram by 4 wickets. Batting first, SRCC bundled out for a paltry total of 95 runs in 13.5 overs. Karan top scored with 25 runs. For Zorawar Club, Shivam took 3 wickets, while Anku bagged 2 and Sanjay claimed one.
In reply, Zorawar Club chased the target in 13 overs by losing 6 wickets. Shivam, Abhi and Sanjay scored 23, 20 and 19 runs respectively. Kavitar bagged 3 wickets for SRCC. Shivam was adjudged as man of the match.
In another match, Dewal Club defeated Sungri Cricket Club by a narrow margin of 10 runs. Dewal scored 104/8 in 12 overs, with Mohd Din, Wasim and Abid contributing 17, 14 and 12 runs respectively. Monu took 3 wickets, while Daljeet and Vanik claimed 2 wickets each for Sungri Club.
In reply, Sungri CC scored 94 runs in 12 overs to lose the match by 10 runs. Amit top scored with 22 runs. Wasim and Saleem took 2 wickets each, while Shahbaz claimed one for Dewal Cricket Club. Wasim was declared as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Vishwajeet, Vikas and Vijaypal Singh, while Congress leader Pritam Singh and senior citizen Beli Ram were the chief guest in first and second match respectively.
