JAMMU, Oct 1: Inter Zonal District Level Cricket Tournament organized for under-14 boys by Department of Youth Services and Sports concluded here today at Khel Gaon Nagrota.
In the title clash, Zone Jammu defeated Zone Gandhi Nagar by 28 runs.
Batting first, Zone Jammu scored 73 runs in 6 overs. Ashutosh scored 23 runs and Manitya scored 22 runs.
In reply, Zone Gandhi failed to chase the target and bundled out at 46 runs by losing 3 wickets in 6 overs. Rajveer was the top scorer with 13 runs.
Sagar, Manitya and Nischay took 1 wicket each for Zone Jammu.
Convener Anju Gupta, ZPEO Marh along with ZPEO Gandhi Nagar Chander Kanta, Technical Officials Mohammad Farooq, Sat Paul Singh, Jagtar Singh, Swati, Satika, Payal Choudhary, Anil Dogra, Naina, Rajesh Choudhary, Vikram Dogra and other officials Naresh Kumar, Ajay Wadhera among those were present during the whole tournament.
The match was officiated by panel of experts of Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Jammu.
